1996-2000 Mass manufacturing technology development of high-speed precision ceramic ball bearings
2000-now Comprehensively improve the level of silicon nitride manufacturing
 
Production process of ZYS silicon nitride ceramic balls:
Raw material-granulation-pressing-cold isostatic pressure vessel-air pressure sintering vessel-grinding process-testing and inspection-finished product.
 
Quality Assurance System of ZYS silicon nitride ceramic balls:
Use laser confocal microscope and ultrasonic scanning microscope for particle size analysis, impurity content analysis, oxygen and nitrogen content analysis, phase composition analysis.
 
Performance testing of ZYS silicon nitride ceramic balls:
Density, hardness, vibration value, crushing load, fracture toughness.
 
Product features of ZYS silicon nitride ceramic balls:
I. Excellent friction performance
1. Since the affinity of steel/ceramic matching is lower than that of steel/steel, when the lubricating film is not formed well or lacks lubrication, the lower affinity can effectively reduce the risk of adhesive friction.
2. Due to the high hardness of the ceramic ball, in the case of severe friction, the ceramic ball has good dimensional and shape accuracy retention and repairability to the groove to ensure the bearing running.
 
II. Small spin-to-roll ratio
Compared with steel bearings, the spin-to-roll ratio of ceramic ball bearings is about 30% lower, indicating that ceramic ball bearings have better contact conditions and lower spin friction.
 
III. Low temperature rise
Less heat; Small deformation; Low coefficient of friction; Small centrifugal force and gyro torque.

9Cr18, 9Cr18Mo stainless steel ball

9Cr18 is high carbon and high chromium martensite stainless bearing steel. After quenching, it has high hardness and wear resistance, high dimensional stability, generally used after quenching and tempering.
9Cr18Mo has the same characteristics and application as 9Cr18 steel, but has higher hardness and stability after quenching. Molybdenum can increase the passivation effect of stainless steel.

About ZYS
Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a hightech enterprise specializing in the development of "highrank, precise, advanced, unique,
special" bearing products for the key units in various fields of national economic construction. Its predecessor, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute, was established in 1958. It is the only state level comprehensive research institute in China's bearing industry.
